Alien Archeologist
Dig minerals to upgrade your tools, then clean and assemble alien relics. Alien Archeologist has a two-layer demo ahead of its December 4 release.
Read articleYou dig into Mars with a shovel, haul minerals back to a grinder and use the money to improve your tools. Alien Archeologist makes each trip underground feed the next one: selling what you find pays for the equipment that lets you dig further.
The alien finds need more attention than a trip to the shop. You clean the relics and assemble their pieces, giving the digging a purpose beyond collecting another load of minerals. It mixes excavation and incremental upgrades with the slower job of working out what you've uncovered.
What can you play in the demo?
The free Steam demo covers the first two layers of the dig site. That's a limited slice of the excavation, rather than the full game. You can try the digging, selling and upgrading loop before deciding whether you want to keep going deeper.
