Read articleCutout Village lets you build a paper village on your screen, then make those same houses for your own table. You cut, fold and glue buildings together in the game. Every building you unlock also comes with a printable PDF template to assemble at home.
After inheriting your family home, you return to a village that has almost emptied out. Rebuilding means meeting and trading with the people who still live there, growing fruit and unlocking buildings that bring new services to its streets.
DevilishGames says there’s no heavy management pressure. The focus is on making the buildings and decorating the village at your own pace.
Steam lists October 21, 2026 as Cutout Village’s Early Access release date for Windows and Mac. The developer says the initial version’s Story Mode can be played from beginning to end. A free-building mode is still in development.
This is an introduction based on the developer’s material, rather than a review of a completed playthrough.
