Death at Fleming Manor asks you to prove every field on the death certificate

Examine bodies, question witnesses and complete forensic records in a 1959 country-house mystery. Naming a suspect is only part of the job.

Knowing who looks guilty will not complete the paperwork. Death at Fleming Manor asks you to investigate a death closely enough to record who died, what killed them and whether it was an accident, a self-inflicted death or murder.

The setting is an English country estate outside London in 1959. You examine scenes and bodies, question the people involved and turn the evidence into death certificates and emergency reports. A plausible suspicion still needs the details that support it.

The death certificate is your conclusion

The documents give the investigation a concrete endpoint. Instead of choosing a suspect and moving on, you have to account for the parts of the death that your report records. Missing or incorrect information can produce the wrong conclusion.

That makes it a natural one to look at if you enjoy the methodical deduction of Return of the Obra Dinn or The Case of the Golden Idol. Those are the developer’s reference points, not a claim that Fleming Manor copies their exact rules or reaches the same quality.

A completed death certificate records identity, time and cause of death beside a suspect list.

A mystery drawn like a vintage crime comic

SUPERTHUMb’s hand-drawn scenes use the clean lines and colours of older European detective comics. The official images move between a crashed car, a bedroom and a funeral gathering. They put bodies, surroundings and conversations in the same visual language.

The South Korean indie studio has released games including Animal Hot Springs and Animal Cinema. Its founder’s public profile lists releases going back to Black Hole Hazard in 2016; Fleming Manor brings that background into a different kind of investigation.

Release, demo and the first hotfix

Death at Fleming Manor launched on Steam for Windows and macOS on 3 November 2026. A separate free demo is listed on Steam.

The developer’s day-one hotfix addresses Episode 2 handwriting verification: leaving the document view could reset visible marks without resetting the internal count. The announcement says the fix is live and asks players to restart Steam and update. That is a specific reported fix, not proof that every launch issue is resolved.

This is a spoiler-light introduction from official material, not a hands-on verdict. It explains the investigative task without supplying case answers or showing an ending.
