Backing away from a fight is only part of staying alive in HEART ABYSS. As Leon, a half-human, half-fox Jinko, you regain health and energy by attacking enemies. Staying close creates opportunities to recover, but it also keeps you within reach of the attacks you're trying to survive.

You control Leon directly in side-scrolling, real-time battles. Qi abilities add magical attacks to the sword fighting, including lightning and energy attacks. The search for his missing sister takes him through an Empire that oppresses magical beings. DEADMAP's action game is scheduled for November 3 on Windows.
