Lucky Punk shows you the odds before you draw another card
Build damage, watch your Effort and decide when to stop. Lucky Punk turns each card draw into a risk you can actually see.
One more card could finish the enemy. It could also wipe out the damage you have spent the round building. Lucky Punk puts the chance of exhaustion on the table before you draw, so the risk is something you can weigh up.
Green Parrot Games’ turn-based deckbuilder sends you out from a settlement to gather supplies in a bright, scrappy post-apocalypse. Its central combat decision is small enough to explain without a card-game glossary: keep drawing, or stop and take the hit you have earned.
How Damage and Effort work in Lucky Punk
Cards add Damage and Effort, alongside their individual abilities. Stop, and your accumulated Damage hits the enemy before they hit back. Push beyond your Effort limit, and you lose that damage; the round ends with only the enemy landing a blow.
You can inspect the remaining deck as well as the displayed risk. That does not guarantee a favourable draw. It gives you information for deciding whether a bigger attack is worth losing the one you already have.

A deckbuilder about changing your tolerance for risk
Returning supplies helps the settlement and unlocks more cards and playable punks. Different builds can change how you treat the same decision: the developer describes defensive options, effects that reward exhaustion and even ways to mark card backs.
That is the part worth watching if you like push-your-luck games. Learning when to stop is only one layer; building a deck that changes what failure costs could make you accept a risk you would otherwise avoid.
Comic art, release and what this introduction covers
The official screenshots pair cut-out characters and comic textures with a deliberately busy combat board. The enlarged odds display is more useful than the punk styling alone: it shows the decision the game is asking you to make.
Lucky Punk is developed and published by Green Parrot Games and launched on Steam for Windows on 3 November 2026. This is a source-based introduction, not a hands-on review; balance and how the different builds hold up over repeated runs remain untested here.
