NODE: PROTOCOL is an Early Access hacking simulation built around terminal tools, contracts and traces. You investigate targets, work through a terminal and complete hacking contracts to earn in-game money for better equipment. Your actions leave traces, so getting into a system is only part of the job.

You also have to manage the attention you're attracting, and even the heat generated by your hardware can slow you down. It's aimed at players who want to learn systems rather than solve everything with a single interaction. The developers are launching it in Early Access on November 6 for Windows and Linux.
