Fuack No. 005
Fuack is the Water platypus at No. 005 — a blue, duck-billed oddball that surfs on waves it conjures from its own body. It's a solid early waterer and hauler, and one of the first Pals you can actually fish out of a pond.
Where to catch Fuack
Fuack sticks to water — the Sea Breeze Archipelago and Marsh Island especially, plus the rivers and coast around the Windswept Hills. It appears day and night.
Weaken it and throw a Pal Sphere; it's passive but will fight back if provoked. You can also fish it out of freshwater, and it turns up in the base Fishing Pond.

Stats & how they vary
Base values before IVs and condensing. Squishy (60 HP and Defense) but a surprising 80 Attack — Fuack hits harder than any other opening Pal.
Work & drops
Three level-1 jobs, and the Watering matters most — Fuack keeps your first Berry Plantation alive so your Chikipi and Lamball have something to eat.
Leather for gear and Aquatic Pal Fluids for early crafting and cooling recipes — the standard water-Pal haul.

Fuack is almost pure Water as it levels, with one Ice detour, building to a wide-sweeping laser.
How to get Fuack
Three ways to obtain one: catch a wild Fuack, fish it from freshwater (it shows up as a shadow in the water), or hatch it from a Damp Egg. Catching is quickest; fishing takes patience.
As a parent, Fuack helps make new Pals — Broncherry + Fuack gives Broncherry Aqua, and Fuack + Flambelle gives the Fire subspecies Fuack Ignis (also fishable at Mount Obsidian). Breed for passives or the subspecies.
The story of Fuack
Fuack pulls water from its own body to summon waves wherever it likes, then rides them like a surfer to get around in a hurry. The catch is that it has no brakes — the reckless speed it builds up tends to end in a spectacular, self-inflicted crash.

Day 5. Fuack surfed a wave it made itself straight across the base, over the campfire, and into a wall. It got up, shook off, and immediately did it again. Boundless.
Day 12. Put it on the plantation and my berries have never been happier. It waters everything, including the Chikipi, who have stopped complaining.
Day 23. It fought a Foxparks over the good sunbathing rock, won handily, and celebrated by wiping out on the very next wave. I love this ridiculous duck.

For an early Pal, yes. Its 80 Attack is the highest of the opening group, it covers Watering, Handiwork and Transporting at base, and as a Water type it counters the Fire Pals you meet first.
