Fuddler — Palworld Paldeck No. 031
Where to find Fuddler in Palworld, how its Mining Assistance partner skill speeds up mining and lightens Stone, its Mining work, Fuddler Tunneler, stats and drops.
Fuddler No. 031
Fuddler is the Ground Pal at No. 031 — a small mole with oversized, diamond-hard claws that it is too lazy to use for anything but digging. It is a Common miner with a partner skill built for exactly one job: making your ore runs faster and lighter.
Where to find Fuddler
Fuddler burrows around the Twilight Dunes and the northern Desiccated Dunes, in small groups of two or three, day and night. It is a light, skittish digger.
It is a regular encounter in Hillside Cavern, Ravine Grotto and the Cavern of the Dunes (with a possible dungeon boss), and hatches from a Rocky Egg. No overworld Alpha.
Region: Twilight Dunes / Desiccated Dunes · Time: day & night · Threat: passive
Stats & how they vary
Melee 100, Shot 80, Support 100, Stamina 100, Running Speed 300, Sprinting Speed 550. Rarity value 1. The four displayed stats use Attack = Shot 80. Its 50 Defense is one of the frailer lines in the early dex — Fuddler is a worker, not a front-liner. Type matchup. Ground is strong against Electric and weak to Grass — bring a Grass Pal to catch it. Work speed 100 is the series default.
Work & drops
A tidy little base spread — it mines, crafts and hauls at Lv 1 each, and its partner skill makes the mining you personally do faster on top.
Leather ×1–2 (100%). An everyday early material; nothing exotic.
Partner skill: Mining Assistance
A quality-of-life boost for anyone building a lot.
Active skills
A Ground kit with two Neutral detours and an exclusive tunnel move. Values from palworld.gg (post-1.0).
How to breed Fuddler
Fuddler hatches from a Rocky Egg and is easy to catch in the dunes — no unique combo produces it. Where it matters as a parent:
The story of Fuddler
"Its large claws boast of diamond-like hardness. However, sharpening these claws consumes most of its energy, leading it to sometimes spending entire days doing nothing else."
"Underground Explorer" is generous. Fuddler has claws hard enough to be genuinely dangerous and spends its energy budget maintaining them rather than using them — whole days lost to grooming diamond-hard nails it never puts to work. It is a small joke about potential wasted on upkeep, and it explains why a Pal with 100 Melee is, in practice, a mining assistant.
Day 22. A mole in the dunes, buffing its own claws with tremendous focus. Ignored me entirely.
Day 23. Put it in the party and my mining runs got faster. The Stone stopped weighing me down. I have built two furnaces since.
Day 26. Watched it burrow and pop up under a Rushoar. The Tunneler is more useful in a fight than the mole itself seems to realise.
Day 30. It has done a full day of nothing but claw care. The Paldeck warned me. I respect the commitment.
Fuddler, answered
Where do I find Fuddler in Palworld?
In the Twilight Dunes and northern Desiccated Dunes, in small groups, day and night. It also appears in Hillside Cavern, Ravine Grotto and the Cavern of the Dunes, or hatches from a Rocky Egg.
What does Mining Assistance do?
While Fuddler is in your party, your mining efficiency rises 30~60% and Stone weight drops 80~100% by level (does not stack) — faster ore runs and lighter hauls.
Is Fuddler good?
As a mining helper and early worker, yes — the party skill speeds your ore grind, and it mines, crafts and hauls at your base. As a fighter it is frail (50 Defense).
What is Fuddler weak to?
Grass, because of its Ground typing.
What does Fuddler drop?
Leather ×1–2, every time (100%).
Was Fuddler renumbered in 1.0?
Yes — it was No. 022 before Palworld 1.0 and is No. 031 now.
