Grintale appears day and night across the early islands. A field boss "Marshmallow Body Grintale" (Lv 17) sits on Marsh Island, northwest of the Marsh Island Church Ruins, around (356, -246).
Wild ones appear in Lv 25–28 forest zones, the Mountain Stream Grotto (Lv 20–23), and the Sakurajima Mushroom Forest at higher levels. It hatches from a Large Common Egg.
