Where to find Pengullet
Pengullet is common and everywhere early: the Windswept Hills, the Sea Breeze Archipelago, Forgotten Island, and the southern Astral Mountains, day and night. It is passive — it flees and only fights if cornered.
It can be fished from saltwater around the grassland, forest and Sunlit Isle regions, appears as a dungeon Alpha in Hillside Cavern and the Astral Mountains Cavern, and hatches from a Damp Egg.

Melee 70, Shot 75, Swim Speed 900 (it is at home in the water). Standard early-Pal fare — you are not building a fighter, you are building a base worker that happens to be ammunition. Type matchup. Water/Ice is strong against Fire, Ground and Grass, and weak to Electric (Water half) and Fire (Ice half) — bring Electric or Grass to catch it cleanly.
Work & drops
Four jobs on one cheap body is the reason Pengullet earns a base slot over prettier Pals: it waters your plantation, crafts at the bench, cools the Ranch, and hauls goods. A Swiss-army starter.

The story of Pengullet
"The feathers of this Pal have all but disappeared, but sadly, its desire to fly has remained as strong as ever. Even now, it tries to fly again in any way it can."
A whole tragicomedy in three sentences. Pengullet is a bird that lost its feathers and never lost the dream — which makes the partner skill quietly perfect: the only way this penguin gets airborne is when you fire it out of a rocket launcher. Its Electric variant, Pengullet Lux, is what happens when that longing curdles.
Day 4. Round penguin on the beach. Would not fly, kept trying. Caught it before it hurt itself.
Day 5. Put it at the base and it did four different jobs before lunch. Best hire of the week.
Day 8. Discovered the rocket launcher. Fired the penguin. For one glorious second, it flew. Then it exploded. I feel complicated about this.
Day 12. Bred it with a Jolthog and got an ice hedgehog. Bred it with a Sparkit and got an electric penguin. This thing is a factory.
