In Yo soy páramo, you build a settlement for humanity's last survivors even though the world cannot be saved. The question is how long you can keep your clan alive. It's the year 3100: the oceans have dried up and the forests have died. Seasons grow harsher, storms sweep through the settlement and later disasters include meteor showers and the destruction of the Moon.

Recovering old technology gives you new buildings and cards to collect, but survival can mean giving up something useful. Do you sell a resource for food now, or keep it for a technology you may need later? Exploration and bartering can uncover inventions from before Day 0, the event that changed this world overnight. What you find gives you more ways to keep the settlement going.

In an email to Crit Pick, Estudio SKR describes permanent decisions, a little randomness and room to set your own goals. You're encouraged to try different survival strategies and learn what the lost technology can do.

The official screenshots show a side-on settlement among orange dunes and broken industrial structures, with illustrated characters and technology cards. This introduction draws on official information and the developer's update; we haven't played a build yet.

Pre-alpha target: 16 November 2026

In its 21 October update to Crit Pick, Estudio SKR said it is aiming to release the pre-alpha on 16 November 2026. That is a development target, not a confirmed full-game launch date. Steam currently lists Windows and a November 2026 release window. A separate public demo date has not been announced in the information provided.

Content note: the developer lists violence, death, cannibalism and nudity associated with poverty and vulnerability.
