Tamer Town — everything we know
Tamer Town is a cosy blend of monster-collecting and city-building from indie studio Crazy Goat Games. You collect 130+ creatures called Mokiton — each with distinct personalities, elemental traits and evolution paths — and they aren’t just battlers: they’re both fighters and citizens, the workforce that powers your town and shapes its productivity and neighbourhood design. Assign them to jobs that match their strengths, keep them happy, and your city’s reputation and prestige grow. Beyond the town there are expeditions, a League to climb, and high-stakes turn-based city-vs-city battles for the Township Tournament Cup. Steam lists a 2026 release and carries the Early Access tag; press has reported Early Access in mid-to-late 2026, with console versions to follow in 2027. This page is for fans of city-building and creature-collecting alike — and anyone tracking Tamer Town — gathering every confirmed detail in one place and updating as news drops.

Collect and raise 130+ Mokiton
At the centre of Tamer Town are the Mokiton — over 130 creatures, each with distinct personalities, elemental traits and evolution paths. You build strong bonds with them through shared training, work and battles, and those bonds are the foundation of a thriving city. Level them up and unlock powerful evolutions through teamwork and care.
A city where Mokiton are the workforce
This isn’t just a creature-collector with a town attached — the Mokiton run the place. You generate resources, sell goods and reinvest profits, assigning each Mokiton to the job that matches its strengths to optimise every building’s output. Earn money to unlock new homes, decorations and territories. Keep your creatures satisfied with elemental decorations near their homes and crafted treats, because a happy, productive town is a prosperous one.
Reputation, the League and expeditions
Your city’s reputation decides who wants to live there, and strong tamers are essential to your success — so keeping Mokiton happy and productive raises your prestige. Beyond the town you rise through the League, head out on expeditions and make your city famous across the land.
Township Tournament Cup — turn-based city battles
High-stakes competitions between cities decide the Township Tournament Cup. You assemble a balanced squad of complementary Mokiton, customise your battle arena to suit your strategy, and climb the ranks, adjusting your team to counter rivals. Combat is turn-based — take control yourself, or let your city’s top tamer handle it in auto-battles.
Dynamic events keep you on your toes
Mysterious visitors and dynamic events can appear in your city at any moment. Surprise challengers show up with unexpected threats that reward rare Mokiton and unique prizes, testing your flexibility as you adapt to unusual team compositions and special encounters on the fly.
A feel-good, anime-styled world
Tamer Town wears a colourful, cute, 3D anime look, and leans into a feel-good tone where humans and creatures grow and stand together. The pitch is an ecosystem where “every connection matters” — design neighbourhoods, unlock stories and shape a town that’s as charming as it is prosperous.
Crazy Goat Games and the sister game, Path to Tamer Town
Tamer Town is made and self-published by Crazy Goat Games, a Polish indie studio also known for Worshippers of Cthulhu. Alongside it, the studio is building Path to Tamer Town — a standalone roguelite prequel where you play a rookie trainer with a big dream: to build your very own Tamer Town. It sends you across procedurally generated cities to collect badges, catch and evolve Mokiton, and face fresh choices every run, with a real-time-meets-turn-based combat system that culminates in a Stadium Showdown. It’s a separate way into the same world of Mokitons, with its own Steam Early Access planned ahead of a 1.0 and console release.
