What Chained Beasts is
You enter gladiator arenas physically chained to the other players. Chained Beasts supports one to four players and turns positioning into a shared problem: coordinate to trip enemies, use the arena’s hazards, or get your whole group tangled around a pillar. Your friends are now equipment with opinions.
You can throw weapons, hurl objects and push enemies into traps. Surviving fights adds another complication: injuries and afflictions can change how you move or what you see. Skills, equipment and unlockable characters give each run different tools for dealing with that damage.
Featherweight Games, which describes itself as a small studio, plans the full release for 15 October 2026. Steam lists Windows and macOS, online and local co-op, and a separate demo. The developer also confirms PlayStation 5 Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch for the same date.
