Which games make this list?
The games from our weekly release video: the notable launches of the week on PC, with a mix of big names and indies we think are worth a look. Demos, free prologues and DLC stay out. It is a pick, not a complete list of every game on Steam that week.
What does "Featured in video" mean?
The game appears in our weekly release video and has a short profile on Crit Pick: what it is, the key facts and screenshots. It is not a review or a full guide. If we cover a game in depth later, its profile grows into a proper page.
Which time zone are the release times in?
Berlin time. When a studio names a day but no hour, we show 17:00 Berlin and mark it "est." so a guessed hour never reads like a confirmed one.
Can I see last week or next week?
Yes. Use the arrows above the list to step back or forward a week. "This week" jumps back to the current one. Every week with a date is built from the same game pages, so nothing is typed in twice.
How is this different from the release timeline?
This page shows one week. The release timeline shows every dated game we cover, across all years, with upcoming, early access and fully released views.
What happens when a release date moves?
The game moves with it. Dates come from each game's own page, so when a launch slips we fix it there once and the game drops out of this week and shows up in the right one.
When is the list updated?
Every Monday with the new release video. The week view itself changes on its own at midnight between Sunday and Monday, Berlin time.
