You pick up strange equipment from distant planets, turn each piece and fit the whole pile into your backpack. Tidy Backpack: In the Faraway Lands makes the usually annoying part of collecting loot the entire puzzle. Nothing needs shooting; it just needs to fit.
BurGum Games lists 100 handcrafted levels across five planets, 30 item types and an accessible mode. The sci-fi artifacts also come with guesses about what they are for. Finding a home for a suspiciously shaped object is the practical part; understanding alien luggage is optional.
The full game launched on Steam on 12 October 2026, with a separate demo also listed. This is the sci-fi follow-up to Tidy Backpack, developed and published by BurGum Games, whose official website identifies it as an indie developer.
