What Escape from Playtime is
You play a Smiling Critter sent into an abandoned Playtime Co. factory by a mysterious voice. Escape from Playtime is a survival horror game for one to eight players: you collect parts and resources, carry them back and try to avoid the rejected creations hunting through the halls.
The factory layout changes between runs. You search for tools, use hiding spots, make distractions and look for alternate routes while proximity voice chat lets your group coordinate. The smaller creature viewpoint changes how you climb and crawl through familiar Poppy Playtime spaces.
Early Access starts on 21 October 2026. The announced initial version includes eight characters, a starter zone and a core enemy lineup. The separately announced beta/playtest is a different event; current access depends on the official sign-up route. No separate demo is linked on the main Steam store.
