KINGDOM HEARTS IV
KINGDOM HEARTS IV: Action RPG exploration across a realistic city and Disney/Pixar worlds.
What KINGDOM HEARTS IV is
You return as Sora, starting in Quadratum, a city whose realistic streets look very different from his familiar worlds. KINGDOM HEARTS IV is an action RPG that takes that new setting into the wider Disney and Pixar adventure.
Square Enix’s latest announcement confirms a world inspired by Coco. The interesting thread is how the grounded city connects to those very different worlds, with Sora’s Keyblade combat carrying the journey. These are announced features; the finished game has not been reviewed here.
The official release window is late 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. There is no confirmed day, so this profile has no exact release-calendar field. No public demo or playtest is confirmed by the cited announcement.
