The Witcher IV
The Witcher IV: A single-player open-world RPG following Ciri as a professional monster slayer.
What The Witcher IV is
You play Ciri in The Witcher IV, a single-player open-world RPG from CD PROJEKT RED. It begins a new Witcher saga, following her work as a professional monster slayer in a world where people can be as dangerous as the creatures they fear.
The official reveal centres on a village ritual and the consequences of intervening. It introduces the character and setting; it does not prove how the final combat or quest systems work. The separate Unreal Engine 5 technical presentation is also explicitly labelled as not actual gameplay.
CD PROJEKT RED has not confirmed a release date in the cited official material. We have therefore left the exact release field empty. The image here is an official cinematic reveal still, not a screenshot of a playable build. No public demo or playtest is confirmed.
