Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2: full release, 14 October 2026 (Steam PC). Fast retro shooting in the Warhammer universe.
What Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is
Auroch Digital develops it, with Big Fan Games and Devolver Digital publishing. This is the sequel to the deliberately old-school Boltgun: fast first-person shooting, heavy weapons and a Warhammer world built for excess.
The sequel lets you play either Malum Caedo or Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath and advertises branching campaign routes. That character choice is more interesting than simply promising more enemies, because it could change how a replay feels.
Steam offers a demo, but we have not verified its reception or played it, so the feel of the guns and the value of the branching paths remain open. If you want a forceful retro shooter rather than a tactical Warhammer campaign, this is the relevant release.
