You move through five Japanese cities across five eras, from 1915 to 1965. STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is RGG Studio’s action adventure about people trying to survive and find a place for themselves as the country around them changes.
Its combat gives you separate control of the left and right sides of your body. Outside the fights, you collect sounds, build music and put on shows. That combination is the reason to keep an eye on it: the stage work is an announced part of play, alongside the brawling and period setting.
The current US Steam listing says 14 January 2027, while SEGA’s latest announcements say 15 January. The reason for this difference is not confirmed by the cited sources.
