Castlevania: Belmont's Curse
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse: full release, 14 October (Steam PC); 15 October (Konami) — check platform unlock. Whip-based movement and gothic exploration.
What Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is due in the 12–18 October release window, but the date needs a careful label. Steam currently lists Wednesday, October fourteenth; Konami's announcement calls Thursday the fifteenth the official release.
The game itself is an exploration-based two-dimensional action adventure developed jointly by Konami, Evil Empire and Motion Twin. Rose Belmont moves through a burning Paris in fourteen ninety-nine and Dracula's castle, using weapons and the Vampire Killer whip.
Konami has released a demo of the early stages and says progress carries into the day-one version. That makes the demo particularly useful if you are deciding whether the combat and exploration are for you. It does not make this a review of the final game. The lineage and the demo are the reasons to pay attention; check your platform's actual unlock before planning your day around either listed date.
