What Hungry Horrors is

Hungry Horrors turns British and Irish folklore into a cooking deckbuilder. As a reluctant princess in a cursed kingdom, you feed dangerous creatures traditional dishes before they make a meal of you.

You build a recipe deck, season cards and chain flavours around the Horrors' appetites. The premise connects its card decisions to recognisable food and legends instead of treating cooking as a decorative skin.

Clumsy Bear Studio launched Early Access on 19 January 2026 and now announces version 1.0 for 13 October. That is a full-release transition, not the game's first availability. We have not played the final build; existing user reviews describe the evolving Early Access game.
