What Midwest 90: Rapid City is
You run a roadside diner during a monster apocalypse. In Midwest 90: Rapid City, those monsters also supply the meat on your menu. You hire staff, set prices, develop dishes and manage stock while preparing traps and defences to keep the restaurant operating through the night.
The useful twist is that defence feeds back into the business. A better menu still needs ingredients, customers still need protection and higher margins can come with consequences for the city around you. Hidden Chest Studios ties that management loop to choices about helping or exploiting the local community.
Early Access is confirmed for 10 November 2026. The developer says it includes Endless Mode, the story prologue and Chapter 1; the full story and 1.0 are planned for March 2027, with no exact day confirmed. A demo is currently linked on Steam. We have not played the release build.
