What Penguin Colony is
You are a penguin in the Antarctic, watching human visitors investigate something they would have been better off leaving alone. Penguin Colony follows that curiosity through a frozen landscape: you wander, follow the expedition and witness what happens as the humans lose their grip on reality.
ORIGAME DIGITAL, the studio behind Umurangi Generation, shifts Lovecraftian horror away from the usual armed investigator. Your small animal viewpoint is the interesting part. The setting draws on At the Mountains of Madness and other stories, with narration by Lenval Brown. Expect a narrative exploration game; the title is not a promise of colony management.
Fellow Traveller confirms the revised launch for 16 October 2026 at 10am Pacific, replacing the earlier 8 October date. Steam currently links a demo. This is a source-checked introduction, without a played-build verdict.
