Lowest-tier liftIt is the weakest glider-support Pal, so later flyers replace it — but at No. 038 it is an early, cheap way to extend gliding range.

How to breed Hangyu

Hangyu hatches from a Rocky Egg and is easy to catch. Where it matters as a parent:

Eikthyrdeer + Hangyu= Eikthyrdeer Terra (032B) — the unique combination for that Ground variant.
Hangyu + Swee= Hangyu Cryst (038B) — the unique combination for its own Ice variant.

The story of Hangyu

"Its strong arms can rip apart even iron. As a particularly cruel form of execution, serious criminals would be strung up in a public square, and a Hangyu would rip the skin from their bones."

The floating balloon and rosy cheeks hide one of the Paldeck's darker entries. Hangyu's cartoon body carries executioner's arms, and its lore leans all the way in. Its Japanese name, Shimenawa, refers to the sacred Shinto rope that marks a boundary — fitting for a Pal stationed at the threshold between crime and punishment.

Day 12. Found a balloon drifting over the dunes. It ran the moment it saw me.

Day 13. Put Hangyu in the party and my glider suddenly climbs — the desert crossings got shorter.

Day 15. Farmed a few for Fiber. Passive Pals are easy once you corner them.

Day 18. Bred it with an Eikthyrdeer and got the Terra variant. This balloon is a breeding key.
