Nox — Palworld Paldeck No. 024
Where to find Nox in Palworld at night, how its Kuudere partner skill detects Pal Effigies, its Gathering work, stats, active skills, drops and breeding.
Nox No. 024
Nox is the Dark Pal at No. 024 — a sleek, aristocratic little fox that only comes out at night. It is a Rare with a genuinely useful exploration skill and a moody Paldeck entry — a Pal you keep in the party for utility rather than raw combat.
Where to find Nox
Nox is nocturnal — it only spawns at night (Dark Pals do not sleep after dark). It appears, rarely, in the low-level regions: the Windswept Hills, Sea Breeze Archipelago and Forgotten Island.
It is a regular encounter — and a possible Alpha boss — inside Ravine Grotto, and hatches from a Large Dark Egg.
Region: Windswept Hills / Sea Breeze · Time: night only · Threat: neutral
Stats & how they vary
Melee 70, Shot 85, Support 140 (unusually high for a small Pal), Stamina 100, Running Speed 300, Sprinting Speed 500. Rarity value 6. The four displayed stats use Attack = Shot 85. Nox is a light, ranged-leaning Pal — you carry it for the Effigy radar, not to tank hits. Type matchup. Dark is strong against Neutral and weak to Dark — a Dark Pal takes extra damage from Dark, so bring one to catch Nox cleanly. Work speed 100 is the series default.
Work & drops
Its only base job — a modest harvester for your plantation while it waits to go exploring with you at night.
Leather ×1 (100%) · Small Pal Soul ×1 (50→40%). Leather is an everyday early material; the Small Pal Soul is a handy statue-upgrade token (40% chance).
Partner skill: Kuudere
A cold, aloof helper — a radar for the tokens that raise your catch rate.
Active skills
A clean Dark kit. Values from palworld.gg (post-1.0).
How to get more Nox
Nox hatches from a Large Dark Egg and, as a Dark Pal, comes out of many Dark-egg pairings — there is no unique combination gating it. The reliable early advice: catch it at night in the starting regions, or clear Ravine Grotto for the dungeon Alpha.
The story of Nox
"If you find Nox hair in your bedding, you should leave it where it lays and leave immediately. Picking it up is a one-way-ticket to a never ending night."
The most quietly sinister entry in this stretch. "Nighttime Prince" sounds regal until you read the warning: Nox fur in your bed is a cursed omen, and picking it up dooms you to an endless night. It reframes the aloof little fox as something folkloric and dangerous — and then you catch it and use it to find statue tokens.
Day 8 (night). A small dark fox, out at 2am, entirely uninterested in me. Caught it on the second sphere.
Day 9. Activated its skill and it pinged a Lifmunk Effigy I had walked past three times. Catch rate going up.
Day 12. Read the Paldeck entry about the cursed hair. Checked my bedding. Slept poorly.
Day 16. It has become my night-time exploration Pal. The endless night has not arrived. So far.
Nox, answered
Where do I find Nox in Palworld?
In the low-level regions — Windswept Hills, Sea Breeze Archipelago, Forgotten Island — but at night only. It is nocturnal. It also appears in Ravine Grotto (regular and Alpha), or hatches from a Large Dark Egg.
What does Kuudere do?
When activated, Nox detects the location of nearby Pal Effigies — a genuinely useful exploration ping for raising your catch rate. It runs on roughly a 60-second cooldown.
Is Nox good?
As a utility/exploration Pal, yes — the Effigy radar is excellent, and its high Support helps it heal in a team. As a raw fighter it is middling.
What is Nox weak to?
Dark, because of its Dark typing (Dark takes extra damage from Dark).
What does Nox drop?
Leather ×1 every time, with a 40% chance at a Small Pal Soul.
Was Nox renumbered in 1.0?
Yes — it was No. 021 before Palworld 1.0 and is No. 024 now.
