The story of Wispaw

"The ghostly hands behind it embody the souls of all humans who have raised its kind. Lately, they seem to have reached a unanimous consensus to dote on Wispaw."

Wispaw is a cat carried by its own history: the spirits of every keeper who ever loved one of its kind, gathered behind it and united in spoiling it. It is one of the sweeter entries in the World Tree bestiary — an "Adorable Phantom Thief" whose skill quietly makes you a better hunter.

Field notes
— from the log of a Pal keeper

Day 30. First saw one deep in the World Tree, ghost-hands and all. Unsettling and adorable.

Day 31. Its capture bonus on back-attacks is real — my sneak throws land far more often now.

Day 33. Handiwork Lv 2 plus a dash of Medicine Production; a tidy late base worker.

Day 40. Hit Lv 70 and it learned Dark Whisp. It fights as hard as it thieves.
