Xenogard No. 146

DragonSize LRideableDay & night
✦ Rarity · Epic — "Only turns up when the sky does something"

Xenogard has zero map presence — day and night, Palpagos and World Tree, every location counter reads nothing. It exists only in the meteorite-event raid, and it is the rare boss you actually want to keep: rideable, with its own saddle at Technology 41, and a 10–35% buff to energy weapon damage.

Partner skill
Unknown Intruder"Can be ridden. While in party, increases the player's energy weapon damage by (10~35)%. (Does not stack)" Energy weapons are a narrow category, so this is a loadout-specific buff. If you are not running them, you are carrying a dragon for the ride.

Xenogard has no wild spawn anywhere. Its entire spawn table is three raid rows, and its map location counts are zero by day and zero by night on both maps.

It appears as the rare boss variant of the Meteorite Event that also produces Xenovader. There is no location to travel to and no zone to sweep — you wait for the event.

Zero map counts and raid-only spawn table from paldb.cc, confirmed on game8 (Palworld 1.0.2). No marker is shown because it has no location.

How to breed Xenogard

Xenogard hatches from a Huge Dragon Egg, or you can catch one in the wild. In the Breeding Farm it sits at CombiRank 990, so plenty of matching pairs can land on it.

The story of Xenogard

"Consumes information and turns it into energy. Regularly seems to be sending information to someone. - Hello? What was the message you just sent? I devoured it before checking."

Where Xenovader forgets information to make energy, Xenogard consumes it. Both are apparently reporting to someone, and Xenogard's entry answers back — "Hello? What was the message you just sent?" Two Paldeck entries running the same transmission from either end, and neither one tells you who is listening.

Field notes
— from the log of a Pal keeper

Nothing to hunt. The event finds you.

Its drop table is meteorite fragments and high-quality oil — thematically tidy, practically useful.

Saddle at Technology 41. Worth having ready before the event rather than after.
