"A thief by nature, it snatches items when no one is looking. No reason to be concerned when caught in the act. Once it swiftly steals your eyes, you won’t be seeing anything anyway."

It steals things when nobody is watching, and the Paldeck reassures you that being caught in the act is no cause for concern — because it will take your eyes first, and then you will not be watching either. The sentence starts as advice and ends as a threat.
