Steam reviews in advanced access
NCSOFT says the world is 36 times larger than the original AION and calls it the only MMORPG built around aerial combat: gaining altitude is how you gain the advantage. Around that sit more than 200 dungeons, from solo runs to ten-player groups, and a character creator with over 200 options.
This is a global launch, not a first launch. AION 2 came out in Korea and Taiwan in November 2025. On Steam, Founder’s Pack owners have been playing in advanced access since the end of September, and the store page already shows 3,842 reviews at Mostly Positive (2 October 2026). NCSOFT is also the parent company of ArenaNet, the Guild Wars 2 studio.
It is one of the games in our weekly release video, releasing on Mon 5 Oct. Every other dated game is on the release timeline.
