big demo updates after feedback
You unlock mutations the game calls Mutamods, and each one can come with side effects. When you die, you are cloned, you go back for your gear, and the game keeps track of how often that happens. Add time jumps and seventies mustaches.
The demo went into Next Fest in June and sits at Very Positive on Steam, 255 positive against 49. What stands out is what came after: two big demo updates based on feedback, with protected quicksaves, a fixed interface, a stronger wrench with a charged attack and a game that is simply less dark. Whether the full game holds up across a whole station is the open question.
Pick it up if
- You like System Shock, Prey or Deus Ex style freedom
- You enjoy stealth with a sense of humour
Maybe skip it if
- You want straight action without systems
- You dislike horror tones
It is one of the games in our weekly release video, releasing on Thursday, 1 October. Every other dated game is on the release timeline.
