Songs of Glimmerwick comes from Eastshade Studios, the team behind Eastshade. You play a student at a university of magic, and music is how magic works: you carry a flute and a songbook, and songs make plants grow, bring rain and open up the island.

The demo came out in April and ran through Steam Next Fest in June. The developer wrote that the median score on their feedback form was a nine and that the most common complaint was that the demo ended. It is already over two hours long, and your save carries into the full game. At Next Fest the game had passed 150,000 wishlists.
