Sova put out a demo on 21 September, and it is an action roguelite that takes its story more seriously than most. You play Sova in a sci-fantasy world called the Conjecture, and it keeps shifting around you.

You move through a dying megacity, flowing wastelands and industrial places made of metal and flesh. Combat is fast, with strikes, dodges and abilities, and every run gives you a new build.
The unusual part is the dialogue. The developers say it is inspired by classic CRPGs. You can walk away from a conversation, interrupt people, or punch them mid-sentence. Enemies remember you, and fights can turn into personal rivalries. Before this demo there were two playtests. The second one, in August, added a hub called the Hive, full of characters with their own problems.
Entropic Island is a small team from Niš, Serbia. Its first game was Lawbringer, a roguelike arena brawler from 2023, and the studio received a Creative Europe MEDIA grant for narrative game development that same year.

It is early for reactions. On 28 September the demo had exactly one Steam review, and it was positive.

Is the Sova demo free?
Yes. The Sova demo has been free on Steam since Monday, 21 September 2026. It follows two earlier playtests, and the second one in August added the Hive, a hub full of characters with their own problems.
When does Sova come out?
Steam lists the full game for 2027. The studio's website names PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch as platforms. There is no exact date yet, so the demo is the way to try it for now.
