STAR WARS: Galactic Racer is set right after the Empire falls. In the lawless Outer Rim an unsanctioned racing circuit, the Galactic League, takes off, and you play Shade, a racer chasing revenge.

You race landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders and podracers, each with its own physics, and you are meant to slam rivals and take them down. The story campaign is runs-based; you can race it solo or take your reputation into player-versus-player grudge matches.
Fuse’s game director previously worked at Criterion on Burnout Paradise and Need for Speed. VGC played a preview in June and wrote that “the driving (flying?) in Star Wars: Galactic Racer feels excellent”. There is no demo, so player reviews start at launch.
