Transport Fever 3
Urban Games' transport tycoon returns on 29 September, now published by Paradox: cities with changing needs, pollution and noise, and every system adjustable.
What Transport Fever 3 is
Transport Fever 3 is the third transport tycoon from Urban Games, and the first published by Paradox. You start with horse-drawn wagons and paddle steamers and end with jets, supertankers and high-speed trains. Every delivery earns money, every vehicle costs money, and the job is to connect cities without going broke.

The developers have been clear about what is new: cities have needs that change over time. You deliver goods, run public transport and at the same time deal with traffic, pollution and noise. The more successful you are, the more demanding the cities get. If that sounds like a lot, each of those systems can be turned down, switched off or pushed to maximum.
Two more details. Transport Fever 2 owners get a ten percent loyalty discount until two weeks after launch, and there is a curated mods programme, which matters for a series with a modding scene this big.
Pick it up if
- You like building networks and watching them run
- You want to tune the difficulty system by system
Maybe skip it if
- You want a city builder where you place every house
- You dislike slow, long-running economies
It is one of the games in our weekly release video, releasing on Tuesday, 29 September. Every other dated game is on the release timeline.
