Cremis
Where to find Cremis in Palworld (the starting grasslands), how its Fluffy Wool partner skill buffs Neutral Pals and farms Wool, plus the reliable breeding pair, stats, skills and drops.
Cremis No. 008
Cremis is the Neutral-element Pal at No. 008 — a small, cream-coloured wool fox that looks like Lamball's better-groomed cousin. It is one of the few early Pals that earns a permanent party slot, because its partner skill is not a gimmick: it makes your other Pals hit harder.
Where to find Cremis
Cremis roams the starting grasslands — the same open green country as Lamball and Vixy — at very low level (roughly 1–3), day and night. It is one of the first Pals you will trip over, and it flees on sight rather than fighting.
Go easy on it. A wild Cremis takes 1.7× damage — the game flags it as unusually fragile when hostile (a wild Lamball, for comparison, takes 2×). Hit it with anything serious and you will kill the thing you came to catch. Chip it down with a low-damage weapon, then throw a regular Pal Sphere. It also appears in the Hillside Cavern and Isolated Island Cavern at levels 6–13; the alpha, Darling Furball, patrols there around level 10–13.
Region: starting grasslands · Time: day & night · Sphere: regular · Threat: none (it runs)
Stats & how they vary
Base values before IVs, passives and condensing. The familiar early shape: a melee number (100) it will never use, a ranged number (70) it will, and just enough Defense (75) to survive being ignored. At level 80 it lands at 3,700–4,540 HP, 520–646 Attack and 500–635 Defense. Condense it anyway — not for the stat line, but for the buff.
Work & drops
Farming Lv 2 is the detail that matters. Lamball, the other early wool Pal, only farms at Lv 1 — Cremis is straightforwardly the better ranch hand, and it hands you Wool while it works.
Wool, one to two, every time. Wool — Cloth — early armour. Between the drop and the Ranch skill, Cremis is the most convenient Wool source in the opening hours.
Partner skill: Fluffy Wool
Fluffy Wool does two unrelated jobs, which is unusual for an early Pal.
Wool feeds Cloth, and Cloth feeds every early armour piece you will craft — so a Cremis on ranch duty removes one of the more tedious early grinds. A five-star Cremis is one of the cheapest damage upgrades in the game, because it upgrades your whole Neutral roster at once instead of one Pal.
Active skills
Eight skills in all — a Neutral base with a surprising Electric streak by the midgame.
How to breed Cremis
Cremis hatches from a Common Egg and is common enough in the starting grass that catching is faster. Breed one when you want specific passives on the Cremis you intend to condense — and you will condense one.
Palworld picks the child by averaging both parents' internal breeding rank. Lifmunk sits at 3020, Cattiva at 2760 — their average is 2890, which is Cremis's rank exactly. No Pal is closer, so the pairing lands every time, and both parents are starters you already own.
Avoid Lamball + Celaray. It is widely recommended and it is a coin flip: those two average to 2895, and Tanzee (2900) sits exactly as far from that as Cremis (2890). The tie is broken by rules you cannot see, so you may hatch a Tanzee instead.
The story of Cremis
Its Paldeck entry is pointed: “Compared to Lamball, it has finer wool and a temperament more suited for domestication. However, it has historically always been kept as a pet. Cuteness is considered a virtue.”
Which is a polite way of saying the island had a better wool animal the whole time and kept it on the sofa instead. Cremis farms better than Lamball, drops the same Wool, and buffs your party on the side — and its reward for all of that is being called cute.
Day 4. Caught a Cremis about forty seconds after leaving camp. It was sitting in the grass being extremely soft and made no attempt to leave.
Day 9. Put it on the Ranch next to the Lamball. It out-farms the Lamball, drops the same wool, and looks smug about it. The Lamball has not noticed.
Day 26. Condensed it to four stars. My whole Neutral team hits noticeably harder now and I did not have to level a single one of them. The fluffiest thing I own is also the most efficient upgrade I have made.
Cremis, answered
Where do you find Cremis?
In the starting grasslands, at roughly level 1–3, day or night — the same open country as Lamball and Vixy. It also spawns in the Hillside Cavern and Isolated Island Cavern at level 6–13, where the alpha (Darling Furball) sits around level 10–13.
What is Cremis's partner skill?
Fluffy Wool — while Cremis is in your party, your Neutral Pals gain 15–30% Attack, rising as you condense it. It does not stack, so one is enough. It also drops Wool while assigned to a Ranch.
Is Cremis better than Lamball?
For a Ranch, yes: Cremis farms at Lv 2 against Lamball's Lv 1, and drops the same Wool. Lamball still brings Handiwork and Transporting, so it is not obsolete — but for wool and farming specifically, Cremis wins.
How do you breed Cremis?
Lifmunk + Cattiva. Their breeding ranks average to exactly Cremis's (2890), so the pairing is reliable, and both are starters. Avoid the commonly-recommended Lamball + Celaray — it ties with Tanzee and can hatch the wrong Pal.
How many active skills does Cremis have?
Eight, from Air Cannon at Lv 1 to Holy Burst at Lv 70. Some guides say seven; they are miscounting.
Was Cremis renumbered in Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Cremis was No. 018 before 1.0 and is No. 008 now.
